Darwinia 1700 with Curved Glass Designed to perform under harsh Australian conditions. The energy efficient double glazed panels are joined in a way which minimises the visible width of the air seal and maximises front on display. Heater wires are fitted to the frame to minimise "sweating". The double glazed sliding rear doors allows easy access with a minimum of floor space. Illumination is by four fluorescent tubes mounted horizontally for maximum illumination. The temperature control is by a digital thermostat / thermometer controller which also incorporates a defrost timer.  Extra large evaporators and a generously dimensioned compressor ensure a high level of humidity at all times. The 510 mm high base houses the refrigeration system and controls.
